Steps to Acquiring Waco State Home Records
- To secure your records from the Waco State Home, you must provide a copy of a driver’s license or other government-issued ID.
- If you are a family member seeking a relative’s records, you must be able to show proof of relationship with a birth certificate or other government document.
- If your relative is alive, you must include a copy of her/his driver’s license or government-issued ID, along with a signed letter from that relative granting approval for you to access the records.
- If your relative is deceased, you must be able to provide a copy of the death certificate or an obituary.
In your letter, please include the following:
- Any necessary documentation from the list above.
- The full name of the child while living at the Waco State Home.
